fire shrimp and crab

I found a crab in my tank today (must have been in some live rock). He is hiding in the same spot just behind my fire shrimp. It seems that the crab occasionally snaps at the shrimp. Is my shrimp in any danger? Crab size is between a nickel and a quarter. The fire shrimp is medium sized. shri

O.K. Thanks for your input. That's kinda what I was thinking. Next question is: How the h**l do I find him now? I started lifting the rocks around where he was but can not find him. Maybe I should drop a crab trap in there (lol).

I managed to find the rock that the crab is hiding in. The next question is how do I get him out? The rock has a deep hole making it impossible to pull him out. So far the only suggestion I've received is to put the rock in ice cold fresh water and he will eventually come out. I don't know if this might kill him. Any ideas??? Thanks
