fire shrimp help

HI, I have a 29 gl with 43 lbs lr and 40 lbs ls and I have a fire shrimp that I noticed today has a bunch of black dots all over him. I got new pc l130w ighting yesturday also. I dont know if that has anything to do with it. I have had him for about 3 weeks now and never seen the dots before.IF any one can help much apreciated.

hello there,
I had a couple of fire shrimp, they would get black dots on them, then they would molt. I had one shrimp turn almost black, then it released fry(?). Due to a bug bombing incident they are no longer with us

Probably just Moulting. They will lose their shell and a brand new on will be underneith. Mine do this every couple of months.

no i dont have a pic. He molted like a week ago. He hides alot so i dont really see a difference in his behavior.he just has a bunch of black dots all over and can not figure out way.
