I noticed earlier today that my fire shrimp that I've had for about 2 months was looking a little strange. It seemed he was not using his pinchers(whatever they're called) just holding them limp. Now I just looked at him and noticed he is missing several legs! I can't beleive it!! The only recent new additions was 1 cleaner shrimp to make a total of 2, a blue star, and another fire shrimp larger than the original. Could the new fire/blood shrimp be tearing him apart? The new guy(the larger one) has been in since tuesday and today, friday, is the first sign of anything wrong with the original fire. I'm devastated and saddened at the way he looks. Will his legs grow back? or is it hopeless? Any ideas what is causing this? Other fish include: yellow tang, pearly jawed, watchman goby, coral beauty, and a flame.
