FireFish Diet

So I am buying my first fish after work today... so so so excited.

I have been researching its diet and this is what I have found.
Feeds on zooplankton, provide a varied diet that includes frozen preparations for carnivores
Along with algae and zooplankton growing in the tank, the diet of the Firefish Goby should consist of finely chopped small crustaceans, vitamin-enriched brine fish (live or frozen), mysis shrimp, and prepared foods.
I plan on buying some frozen shrimp to feed now and then. Should I buy Zooplankton to feed it? Also I want to get a flake or pellet food to feed as well. I see references to food One and Two. Which is better and will that be a good diet for it with occassional frozen shrimp?
I plan on getting clowns next, so if possible I would like food that could be shared.
Thanks!

I've had my clowns and my firefish for almost a year now and i feed them just normal flakes...and my clowns mated. good luck

My firefish and clown all eat flakes as well...With me also giving the clown some of the oraglo pellets. I also mix up some varied frozen foods a couple times a week for everyone and add some phytoplanktin in there for the corals and such.
