Firefish Goby or Royal Gramma?

Yes, so are grammas. I like firefish much better. Grammas can have an attitude problem with other fish.

True, but if you already have fish with attitude problems, a firefish probably wouldn't be a good addition.

jw here. can u mix puprple and regular firefish? in genereal or 1 and 1?
or can u school them and have alike 3 or 2 purple and 2 reg? or how would u do it if its possible.

I've had both. The fire fish is my smallest and most timid fish. I don't see him much. But I had him 3 years. I had a Gramma who jumped from my tank. Very sad. The gramma had a lot more personality.
But fire fish are cool in schools so get 3-4.

I actually have both right now and they seem to be getting along fine. I couldnt decide between one of the other, so now I have them both.

I have both in my small 10 gallon DT tank right now. They seem to get along fine

grammas are butiful personally i have had both firefish was introced when i had damsels so he was just expensive fish food and gramma jumped out but he added color and he was soo funny (he swam upside down) but which ever u choose i am sure u will love it

i got a royal gramma
hes pretty cool. the first two days he was shy if you looked @ him he would go in a hole but now he doesn't let me take pics he gets in front of the camera and follows it! the only bad thing is that it is charger colors and i go for the raiders!!!! by the way do they come in black and gray?(jp)
