Firefish

I just got my firefish from the LFS and noticed white spots. I'm hoping this isn't ich but I have no idea. The fish doesn't rub against the wall or anything and when I saw him at the fish store he was just swimming along. How can I make sure this isn't ich?Do I need to just give him more time to acclimate? Any help would be great, I dont want to deal with ich while still trying to learn. I have had and engineer goby and a cardinal for over a month with no problems.

Ich looks like the fish has been sprinkled with salt grains [same color and size as salt]. If this is what you are seeing, then it is ich. There is a pic of percs with ich in the FAQ Thread at the top of the forum. This is a very servere case, but you get the picture....:thinking: literally!
