First 6 gallons of ro

I got my ro/di counter top filter...AND I just made my first 6 gallons. 1 is in a seperate congtainer which I will use for top off tonight, and 5 gallons are mixed with salt and aerating for a water change in my 54g tank...Probaly change it Sunday morning....Tomorrow I am going to buy a 30gallon trash can (WITH WHEELS) so I can make water for my 225g tank.
I sure hope this helps my algae issues.

I think you'll notice a healthier system over time using RO/DI water

You should discard your first "batch" of water, because it can contain oils and dust left over from manufacturing.

UTOH!!!! Well I actually let it run for a while first...so I hope that was good enough. It was used before (I bought it used) So I hope all that was out of it...already did a 5g water change on my 54g tank this morning...and preparing 25g's which I will change Wednesday.
