I broke down and got the clarkie a BTA. Now what? How often should I direct feed it? And does this one just take shrimp or should I try something else?
Thanks

I feed mine pieces of chopped shrimp, squid whatever is in the $3.00 frozen bag from WalMart. I use a turkey baster, to target feed directly into it's tentacles twice a week.

I feed mine earth worms. I buy them at walmart in the fishing section. Soak them in freshwater for a few minutes first then dry them off and drop them into your LTA. I have had mine for about 18 months now.
I feed it about once every two weeks.
My anemone really loves them, ;)

Earth worms? Anemones never get them in the wild so it seems unnatural, but if it works for you :) do you mean sandworms?

No, I call them nightcrawlers. They are excellent food for even fish. They have a good nutritional profile. They also have no additives. Pure nature, ;) and cheap, lol
And most fish and verts love live food...a big +

Yes it does sound strange but it is all I have ever feed it.
I have had very good luck with mine.
I wish someone else would try it and let me know how they do.
It is very fun to watch the anemone attack so fast!

Okay here is the problem, my one clown fish who never causes me any trouble claimed the anemone. OMG the damn clarkii is still in my colt coral.
