Trying my first coral, green ricordea

30 gal. with 35# LR, 40# LS, 10 gal sump/fuge.
Nitrites, nitrates, ammonia near zero.
Will I need to feed the ricordea or should it be able to get enough of what it needs?
Thanks

Next question....
Will polyps move on their own? When the lights came on this am my ricordea is now lying on the substrate below the frag it came on. It appears to be undamaged. Is it the hermit crabs or what. I have no fish.
1 orange linkia star
13 hermits
astrea & cerith snails
5 small peppermint shrimp
water parameters good
ammonia - 0
NO2 - 0
NO3 - 2.5
all the rest good.

Lighting requirements for green ricodea are very minimal. To answer your second question.. If you put a powerhead on the ricordea after it attaches it will most likely spit as they do not like high flow areas. I have gotten mine to split several times this way.
