First Coral

Well my tank is set up and cycled, I have my new MH light set up and it isn't affecting the temp. I have moved my 2 clowns and my Coral Banded Shrimp into the tank. I have live rock and at least 2 tiny hitchhiking start fish in the tank. Water tests all look good.
Does that mean I'm ready for my first coral? Do any of y'all recommend a good starter?
What about quarantine? I don't have sufficient lighting for my 10 gal QT. Will I need to quarantine corals?

Quarantine corals is a bit tricky to do but some people do that. Usually when buying a coral it will be attached to a piece of LR or something else. If it is attached to a piece of LR then it could be a good idea to follow the freshwater dip method. Or, you could place it in the 10G and monitor it for a bit. Watch it to see if any unwanted hitchhikers were on it. Seems to me it would be quite a shock to the coral to get moved twice so I dont do that myself.
For a good starter coral I would look at frogspawn, mushrooms, Zoos, or green star polyps. All of which are pretty hardy. Once you get the hang of that you might look at getting an anenome for your clowns to host in.

That's the goal, to get an anenome, but I thought I'd try something for beginners first. Thanks for the quarantine info, that makes sense.
