picked these up today, anyone know if this brain is supposed to open some?

Does that brain feel slimy? If so, I believe that is an open brain and they do open up considerably. I have mine on my sand bed and it's huge. It only shrinks up at night and when I clean the glass.

i dont think its an open brain, i think its a lobophilya (sp?) or something like that, at the lfs it just said brain coral

I have one of those lobophyllia dark green blueish xenia was attached to it but didnt make it,passed away,how do you feed them have him under my 1x150 hqi so he is getting plenty of light
