First feeding!

Got my first Condi last week and when I put it into the tank after the trip from my LFS, it was shruken, shriveled, and not looking too good. It came back to life, moved down to the bottom of my tank, and settled in on a piece of rock. It caught a few flakes by accident but I did not feed it until tonight when I gave it a thawed cube of krill. Boy, did it come to life and gobble down the krill! all the tentacles came into play and pushed the food into the mouth.
Like any addition to my tank over the years, it's always rewarding to see the new guy eat for the first time. This is a new experience for me and it's so cool to get into another area of SW fishkeeping and have some beginning sucess.

Here's a new pic-not too clear but you can see the in tank fuge w/chaeto, the cleaner shrimp, and a damsel.
I got my new Remore skimmer and RO/DI units tonight and installed the skimmer. Once I get some water changes done with the reef crystals and the RO/DI water I will be starting with some corals.
I'm so glad I got into an inexpensive and easy hobby! LOL
