First Fish! what els?...

i got my first fish yesterday, a green chromis. but since i have him should i get a clean up crew today or soon?

if the tank finished cycling, then get a clean up crew. and IME, chromis like to be in groups. its hard to say how many, but at least 3 imo.

How many gallon tank do you have ? A would get a small school of Chromis - 3 -5 depending on your tank size.

55 gallon tank, but i read somwhere that they shouldnt be kept less then a group of 6 or they can stay as pairs sometimes trios. and what do you think i should get for a clean up crew. my tank is cycled i did a water change this morning and ill go get a clean up crew today.

start off with between 10-20 nassarius snails, 5 turbo snails, and maybe like 5 scarlet hermits.

ok i just went out and got 10 hermit crabs (blue leg), and they said i should wait untill more algea builds up before i start adding snails
