Hey, so I'm kinda new to this board (two months), but my tank is about a year old. Actually I just upgraded to this tank, 29g, a couple weeks ago. Before I had a 20g. And I just got better light so don't have very many corals. But I thought I would try to share some pics, we'll see if this works

Um, I have 2 96 watt 50/50 PC lighting. I have one perc, and two purple firefish (first pic). and a fire shrimp (he was hidding during pics), feather duster, and clean up crew. I have frogspawn, xenia, zoos, and mushrooms
I think that's it
What do you guys think I should add next? I'm looking for more color

Hey...it looks great. Just curious..what do you use as a filter and what is your maintenance schedule? Everyone says anything smaller than 50 gallons is a nightmare to maintain. too many changes etc...I was considering a 48 gallon or smaller..but not sure yet.

I have 2- 37g tanks they were FW tanks that I changed over to see if I would like doing SW. I kept the same HOB filter I just added power heads and lots of LR I have not had any problems with them at all!!!
Now my 15g tall tank in the kitchen I must watch the water all!! the time and do water changes alot, but it is worth the extra work.
I know the paper on the back is tacky I no longer do that but it was on the FW tank and have never changed it.

Lennon, my maintenance is normal, weekly 10% water changes, weekly testing, more if I'm concerned about anything. Daily checks for fish/invert and equipment functioning. Um I run a skimmer and powerheads, lots of live rock. On my old 20g i ran a fluval filter, but finally gave it up due to high nitrates because of the canister filter. I spend a lot of time on my tank because I like to, but I have never had a major problem related to having a smaller tank.

I bought the firefish together and they never really stray far from each other, but they weren't priced as a pair, so I don't think they are a mated pair. If I keep them together long enough will they become a mated pair?

Very nice looking tank. Larger pics would be nice so we could see more detail, but delightful pics nonetheless.
