First reef tank

Ok guys, I've never done a reef before, I've been an agressive f/o guy, so please bear with me :D . ive got a 20gal tank thats empty with an eclipse top. Should I even bother with this? My plan was to do live sand and around 20 pounds of live rock. For fish I want a dottyback of some sort, and maybe one more fish. As far as corals go, I want ones that are easy to keep. I know I want some green/yellow star polyps and a brain coral of some sort. Would this work out in the tank, or am I just dreaming? Bo

Heck ya it will work...... Just get a better light and hood :D .. I'd do a sump if I were you..
Leave out the Dottyback if you ever want shrimp in there. Those things are are the DEVIL !!!

I'm reef ignorant guys, what kind of lights do yall suggest. The dotty I'm really interested in are tank raised neons, and from what I've heard about them, the are one of the meanest species. I'm not as interested in shrimp right now, I just want to start with some basics and see how it does. Any other suggestions on easy to keep corals? Thanks guys, bo

On a tank that small... PC or VHO.. I like VHO.. I think they look better and my corals do better under them than they did with PC.. Just my .02 ;)
