First Saltwater fish / Thanks to all!

I just added my very fist saltwater fish ever today.

I went to my LFS and they tested my water and it matched up with mine which it was ready for fish. He suggested a Blue/Green reef chromis since i don't really care for damsels. I acclimated it as it says on here and after being in my tank for 4 hours he is swiming great and already eating like a pig. How long should i wait to get another fish and how many fish should i put in a 75gal without overloading it? My plans are to have 2 Clown fish, Blenny, a few more blue/green chromis and eventually down the line a Blue hippo tang along with a cleanup crew.
Also i wanted to thank everyone on here for thier help, everything i read on here helped me start a new saltwater tank for the first time. If i can pass on any advice to anyone it is, read, read, read, and read some more. And like everyone says, patience pays off in the long run.
Thanks again everyone!

Patience is the key here. You will need to wait 1-2 weeks before adding another fish. Do not overfeed as it may come up to the top and beg everytime it sees you. Over feeding kills more fish than anything else IMO.

That's the only recommended 2 at a time there is I believe. Credits to you for asking! Just be careful when adding that you monitor your levels and watch for a spike. Once it is established longer, the water quality overall improves and it's more flexible. Good luck with the tank too!

Things get better and better. As i was watching my fish i noticed something fall down. Upon looking closer i found my first hitchiker, a Asterina seastar.

Awesome to hear!
Good luck with it. Good choice on not getting damsels. They can get mean.
Be sure to add another Chromis or two eventually. They make a very interesting display as they naturally school together. In fact, I found that the more of them the bolder they get.

How do you find other hitchikers? I thought i read on here to use a red lens flashlight with the lights off?

That's to see the nocturnal life.
A good time to watch for hitchhikers is a few minutes after feeding your tank too.
