First time sump/fuge owner

I just ordered a 30 x 14 sump/fuge custom made which I am extremely happy with. It has 2 PC lights and 3 sections. It came with 2 intakes which I have hooked up. However, there is nothing to get the water from the pump back into the tank. What do I need to accomplish this?
Also, is there anything in general I need to know before getting started as far as this sump goes. I dont want it to flood in a power outage. The tank was custom made and has no floor, so the sump will sit right on the floor. Also, the tank has a 2 foot tall overflow box on the one end with pipes sticking up for the water to go down into so that the whole box doesnt flood into the sump in case of an outage.

a pump in one of the compartments can be used. if the one end of the sump has a hole, it can use and external pump. my sump is in a rubbermaid container. i elevated it with two bricks, so if it overflows during an outage it stay in the container. best of luck.

You can use pvc or flexible vinyl tubing with stainless steel hose clamps and I recommend plumbing a ball valve into the return line in the event you need to choke the return pump back a little. Google "aquarium plumbing."
