My sailfin looks completely healthy, but I have noticed him "bellyflopping" in the sand tonight...any reasons why?

i would guess the start of ick.
But someone with more experience back me up.
does he Swim in circles and then dive bomb the bottom? Kind of a little touch and go?

I would say ick or something like it. My PB started doing that and the next day he was covered in ick. Turned on UV and dosed 2x with Rally, all is good.

It is not a good sign. When fish start "flicking" in the sand like that, something is irritating their skin. It could be ick as stated above.
