Fish combination

Hi,
I'm fairly new at owning a saltwater tank as my other tanks are freshwater.
My tank is about six months or more old. It's very stable. I am wondering
about the combination of fish that I have. I'm not sure about my hogfish
as I know they get big. My tank is 75 gallons with all the right equipment.
Here's what I have:
l. Flamehawk
2. two firefish (purple)
3. one hogfish(magenta and yellow)
4. Blue powder tang
5. blue damsel(starter fish)
6. Mauroon clown
7. 4 small cardinals(not sure I'll keep them)
I'm thinking about getting rid of the hogfish and the blue damsel.
Let me know if this is a good combination. I am also getting more live rock
as I don't think I have enough. They seem to all be getting along okay.
I went through a lot of trial and error in combinations of fishes in the
beginning. Any advice would be great. I'll post pictures soon after I
add more live rock. I decided against annemones as I heard they
can be difficult to keep.

I would think that if they seem to be all getting along they should be alright together. As far as the anenomes I have 2 condy anenomes, 1 pink tip haitian anenome, and 1 zebra mat anenome. They are great and don't give me any problems. I have these anenomes in with: 3 damsels, 1 clownfish, 1 dwarf lionfish, 1 green mandrin, 1princess parrotfish, 1 long spine sea urchin, 1 brittle starfish, 1 large shrimp, along with hermits and turbo snails. Although some may advise against my combination of fish; they all get along great, swimming together and no fighting or picking. Although the sea urchin and the shrimp have a battle once in awhile. lol. Good luck with your tank and consider adding an anenome, they are really a great addition!

The powder blue and the hogfish are both going to outgrow this tank. It sounds like a spanish hogfish. A better choice for a tang in a 75 would be one in the bristletooth family such as a Tomini or Kole.Condy anemones can and will eat small fish.

The purple and yellow hogfish is called a Spanish hogfish, and will soon outgrow your tank. Powder Blue tangs have very large territories in the wild so people generally say that 175 gallons and up for powder blue tangs. I dont know about everyone else, but every hawkfish i have had with firefish have ended upslowly killing them. They just nip it on the tail everyonce in a while until its got no more tail! But of course temperment varies from each individual fish, and people still don't believe me but i used to have a cleaner shrimp with a clown trigger, spanish hogfish, and lionfish. They were all together for a year or so until it "dissappeared"
.
