Fish compatiblity

I have a 55gal reef.
I want to add some nice fish to it and all I have in there now is one fiji yellow hogfish.
Any suggestions? I heard that I should add at least two or three fish at a time. What do you think of that?

Take your time when adding, patience is the key to marine. IMO I would add no more than two a month. Be cautious with your hog, he may nip at your crustaceans, shrimp or even smaller fish. They tend not to be reef safe.

I agree be careful with the hog fish, what you may want to try is a nice yellow tang, along with a hippo tang and thats it for tangs, a tomato clown and a couple of blue damsel and that whats you would be limited to. good luck
and go slow to fast and you may wind up with some trouble
