Fish Death- Please Help

I have a 46g mixed reef. My clownfish died about 2 days ago
and I can't seem to find it. I saw that it was dead in a crevice of the rocks that I couldn't reach. When I came back to get it the next day, it was gone. I do have about 20 hermit crabs and 2 cleaner shrimp that could eat it, but would they eat it that quickly? There is a slight film that is building over the surface of the water now. When I saw that it was dead Tuesday, I did a 10g water change. Should I worry?

yes your clean up crew could eat a fish up in a short time period.
do you have a power head or anything moving the water around on top? if you dont you should it helps keep that film mixed into the water colum so your protien skimmer and take care of it. and it will also help with gas exchange.

With 20 hermit crabs they could easily eat it that fast. I wouldn't worry about anything but if any of your things are high, am-rate-rite-ph they check to see if he is stil behide the rockwork somewere.
