fish dying within 24 to 48 hrs

hey guys/gals i need help with my 55 gallon i just converted from a ugf to live sand about 3in bahama arag i have 1 yellow goby ,1 red scooter blenny ,1 candy cane coral and 1 toadstool coral parametera are ph 8.2 , nitrite o , nitrate <20 ,ammonia 0 , temp 78 yet i cant seem to keep newcomers alive for more than 2 days im float acclimating bag unopened from lfs for about 20 min then adding a half cup tank water every 15 min for an hour i have a fluval 305, 1 red sea hang on skimmer , a 950 circulation pump and a marineland biowheel. tank has been running for about 3yrs but lost some fish a couple of months ago due to heater i think . only survivors are my two fish i mentioned my lfs sg is 1.019 and mine is 1.025

First, you should have a QT set up so that you do not introduce ick or other stuff into your DT. Second, are your fish you buying on line or LFS. If LFS are they eating at the store? As for acclimation I float my bag open to allow air to get in and I add a little less water for the first hour about a 1/4 cup then raise it to half cup every 10 min. for another hour, a total of two hours. I also pour the water in to the bag so that it will cause the surface water to stir up. I hope I was some help.

What fish have you lost? I really can't even guess without this info.
Also how much LR do you have, did you have LR with the UGF? This won't have much to do with your fish loss; just curious as to how you're keeping nitrate at a managable level.Did you lose any livestock when you removed the UGFs? Hydrogen sulfide can be a problem when you do this.
