fish eating salt BAD???????

[i love fish]

sometimes when I clean up the salt that has evaporated onto my tank hood, little bits of it fall in the DT and my emperor runs to eat it, I try 2 distract her from doing so but it doesn't always work.
So far nothing bad has happened to her from doing this, but could it affect her later? Eating salt bad???

My fish do it to. It hasn't hurt them.
