Fish food

amphipods ! are they good for my wrasse ???? i have a dragon wrasse.......but my question is....i live by the ocean , and i go and pick up dead marsh plants , and in the plant are these amphipods millions of them..! just in this small little area of plants. is it good to harvest these and feed them to my wrasse ??? i mean i have been feeding him these for awhile now. i have this huge bucket filled with ocean water and i just leave them in the bucket with the plants i found them inn , they seem to live and populate !!! but i know feeding fish food that comes from the ocean sometimes isnt good. or thats what ive been told.

it could be really risky getting food straight from the ocean but if your fish seem happy and healthy it could be ok. i would stick to feeding them store bought stuff because a parasite or disease could maybe come in on the plants.
