I told myself I was not going to get a fish for my 5.5g at my dorm, ut now i really really want one. Obviously it has to be one thats not too active, so I was thinking of a clown goby or some kind of goby. What are your favorites? Later on I may get 2 small black clowns and upgrade to a ten gallon and put the other fish in my 24g with a clown and sixline wrasse.

You could do a small clown goby, but thats pretty much it.

maybe a yellow clown goby but be on top of everything happening in that tank.
get the clowns when you upgrade even if they are small, you dont want to cause problems with water quality issues by feeding, etc.

Not sure what you have in that tank, but a Clown Goby and some inverts would be good. But keeping parameters stable in a tank that small is tough!

Panda gobies are nice and stay really, really small. They like to hide though. I also have a friend that just got some type of dwarf boxfish that is the cutest thing ever and very social. I would love to have one but they are so tiny they wouldn't survive long in any of my larger tanks. I will try to find out what the name of it is.
