fish got stuck

I have a green carpet anemone and I just got a orange-spotted goby..Hoping that he would pair up with my pistol shrimp...
However right when I put him in the goby swam right into my carpet..The carpet closed on him quick,,but I somehow got the goby out...But looks like he got messed up.. Anyone know it if could live? He is still moving around a little..But looks like he could have some flesh wounds...From anemone sticking to him..
How bad is a sting from a carpet anemone?:

Yello watchman goby pair up with pistol its cool as hell....but wont see either much

Careful what you put into tanks with anemones. Many fish are from regions of the ocean where there are no anemones so they don't know what they are and usually wind up getting stung. Many types of gobies, jawfish and most all mandarin fish are like this.
I think you were fine combininb a orange-spotted goby with a green carpet. You just had bad luck.
