Fish HAVE ich!

sure beth you can use the picture(s).. the fish store had a 11 or 12'' pretty blue hippo tang and it was infected with ich BAD! All but 3 fish died from ich. They arent going to fix it b/c they are getting all new filter and tanks next week. That was the largest hippo tang i have ever seen. They were setting up 2 ,55 gallons when i went in there. The tang was only $5 b/c of the bad inch and it was about to die and wasnt breathing much at all. Cant wait until i get the 125 up and running and then get a voltain lionfish.

lion, I merged your last thread with your previous one. If is best to keep threads together, otherwise, it gets confusing. So, stick to one thread with the same problem.
Are you going to put up a QT? You have LR in your display?

ok.. how do you become a monarator? Im not doing a qt tank b./c the fish store said if the treatment stuff didnt work and if my fish died they would test my water, which is fine, and if it ok then their get me all new fish for free. The yare really good at trusting and know what works. I trust them 100%

my rock is
10-15 lbs of fiji rock i think and about 20-30 lbs of flordia rock. Its is hard to remember what i have. I really dont keep track.

Well, the first thing you have to do to become a moderator is set up a QT.
The 2nd thing is value the life that you take charge of when you decide to keep marine animals. This would basically mean that the animals have more than just a monetary value and that you take responsibility for their well-being once you have them. A heart-felt appreication for marine animals is the only way to advance in this hobby. And, I've yet to see a mod here who didn't care a great deal about their fish and what happens to them.

ohh. soo i would have to become very smart with fish to be picked. I want to study this thread and be a mod. for this thread. How long will it take to be seleted after i become an expert in forula.
