Fish Health

I'm pretty sure.
I believe it may have something to do with how bad was the initial infestation. Unfortunately there may still be ich in a tank in which the fish seem healthy. If a new fish is added to that tank, a full blown lethal infection can develop.

Oh I see…
The problem that I ran into is that I brought 6 clowns about 5 weeks ago. Day two of having the clowns I notice what I believed to be ich I was not sure, so I just watch the tank to see what would happen, some of the clowns were worst off then other. However, when I purchased them from the LFS they had no facial sign of ich until they were place into my tank. All of the other fish in the tank show nix signs of ich at all, not saying that they don’t have ich but they look and at normal. All of the water tasting tasted normal, so my question is should I do anything to the clowns or show I just let them be. I do not have room for a QT.
Thank you,

Why are you convinced you have ich? What are you seeing? It is hard to give advice without further description. There are some pictures of a few fish diseases in the Basic FAQ at the top of this forum. Brooklynella is another infection that is particularly common in clownfish. Another possiblity (if you saw white spots) is that the white spots you saw could have been caused from the trauma associated with netting the fish. If the fish appear healthy now, I see no problem in continuing to observe them.
That being said, a QT is almost a necessity in this hobby.
As an aside, are you aware that you will eventually have problems in a tank that size with 6 clownfish? Once the fish get old enough and mature, two will pair off and then fight off (and possibly kill) any other clowns in your tank.

At first I was not convince that it was ich. Before this post, I had posted two other one about ich, however, no one reply to the posts with much advice.
The fish are covered with white spots that look like cotton the size of a pinhead. The white spots are in front of their months on their fins and on the sides of the fish. So that is what is making me think that it is ich. But I could be wrong.
On the side note of the six clowns in this size of a tank, when I brought them they was less then an inch and now they are a little over a inch. In saying that I thought that I would lose one or two of them due to something. Nevertheless, the ones that didn’t die I would trade back to the pet store when the time would come, when the nick picking would start.
I really want to thank you, for taking the time to convey some insight into the matter.

That sure sounds like ich. It is possible that the spots (trophonts) have fallen off and are reproducing in your tank now. Within a few weeks, the spots may come back worse then before.
If you see no spots now there is no need to do anything but watch your fish closely. Be prepared to do treatment if you see the spots come back. Hyposalinity is the preferred method. There is a good sticky about how to do this in the FAQ sticky at the top of this forum. Good Luck!
