I know this will be hard with out a photo but I need an idon a salt water fish the guy at the LFS said he was an engineer goby that much I am almost positive it is NOT. The fish is eel like in shape and approx 7 inches long it is black with whitish yellowis abnormally shaped spots covering its body it appears to love to dig in sand and substrate and moves along under the rock work it can swim forwards as well as backwards without much effort it does not appear to have any teeth and its mouth is about 3/8 of an inch across. Would really like some help with a possible ID .I have looked through every eel id thinking it might be an eel but it is definatley not anything out of the 25 or so I looked at.

Found it thanks anyway it actually IS an ADULT engineer goby. AND I doubted that poor guy at the LFS.
