fish names

i know this comes up every now and then...but who names their fish, and what for? mine are (as seen in my sig file) frida the fridmani cause her colors seem like something out of frida kahlo's mind--and of course frida and fridmani... bennie the blennie, he just seems like a bennie, happy go lucky kinda guy. and cleopatra the serpent star because she's all sneaky and slinky--and apparently i need to worry about when she might snap and kill something
what're your fish names, and why?...

I name mine.
percula clowns are named monty and naomi (just because)
Christmas wrasse is named Kris...sorta self explanitory
Mandarin gody is named Gomase
Fire goby is named inferno cuz I though it would be fun
and the scooter blennie hasn't been named yet

you shouldve added a middl column ( i name some, and some i dont). err, uh, well or something like that, because that's what i do . The fish i name, are the ones i likve the most. (well sometimes i buy a fish or reptile, and it acts like a meanie head too the other tankmates)
Names of my animals -
Tiger OScar - Hitler, you can probaly guess why...But he is one of my favorites, one thing i liked about him, is when he gets hungrey, he gets rocks in his mouth and spits them at the glasss!
Water Dragon - Lefty, he's missing his left arm,(got in fight with another water dragon)
that's all i'll put. it'd be a page long if i told you all there names .

I have kids so everything gets named - pets, furniture if they think it is important we name it. What is funny is that all of the fresh water fiish are named GUY and we have a tetra tank full of them - my daugher who is 4 1/2 explained it - she thinks they are all cute guys so they are named Guy....

Clown Goby = Goby Green
Hermit = Santa Claws
Snails = Shells - all of 'em same name ....

clownfish: Sideshow Bob
Regal Tang: Milhouse
Emeral Crab: Pinchy
Hermit Crabs: Sometimes I also refer to them as Pinchy
Mandarin: Mandy (recently deceased-powerhead accident)
Can you guess where I got the inspiration for naming my fish(with the exception of Mandy)??

Doesn't everyone name their fish??? And even if YOU dont name them, I am sure they have to have one.......if only we spoke fish! hehe
I have a Clown Grouper named Cujo. He is in a tank with triggers and other clowns plus a lion fish.
Last week I put in 4 damsals as a treat to my barbarians. Cujo ate ALL 4, then sat paralyzed on the bottom of the ank for half a day because his gut was so full, he couldnt swim.

i've had so many fish over the years that i stopped naming them LONG ago. friends still come over and ask what their names are and when i tell them i don't have names for them, they always give them names, so my fish have lots of names, just none given by me
