Fish because you can watch them swim.
Ditto. Its the kinetic art that keeps me in the hobby. Otherwise I'd just feel like a wet-armed gardener.
I would do corals. If you do fish then you get your full stock list and then your done theres nothing more to do but with corals you can frag and trade
The only reason I put in fish is I always get so tired of people coming in and seeing the tank and then asking if they can buy me a fish.
Reefers- to everyone else its just a bunch of wet rocks in a glass box unless there is fish in there too.
Prior to this I would have said fish. When I lost all my fish to ich, I had to leave my tank empty of fish. During that 12 weeks, I got coral, and then some! Now, I love coral!

I guess i'm not "into" corals yet but I do think that fish definitely have a lot more character and are more fun to view. Interesting thread Alix, definitely makes you think!
personally-as a saltwater addict I have to have both reef and fish only. The solution really is to have multiple tanks-much better -alot of room for everything!!!!!
