Fish Room

I would like to set up a fish room with several 10-20 gal tanks. I would like to have a central filter system. I would like some help onwhere to find information on how to build this.

While in theroy it sounds good it is also a great way to spread nasty things like parasites and bacteria into your whole system, plus if something fails you could lose everything. I have a large fish room with everything from fresh to brackish to salt and I tore down my central filtration in my fresh water tanks because of these problems
