fish sale gotta buy something

thinking of buying a flame angel tomorrow, but already have a coral beauty in the tank am i headed for trouble? i have a 55 with:
1 yellow tang
2 green chromis
1 bi color blennie
1 blue damsel
1 clown
1 coral beauty
125 gal wet/dry
skimmer
uv light
lfs havin a 25% off sale and i just got to buy something, any suggestions

I would not get more fish into that tank
it's just me
if I'm not mistaking it is a 55G right?

I also have a 55 and have always been told that a Tang needs at least a 75 gal..not to mention all of your other fish..I think you're already too overstocked to add any other fish,but it's your call.

katara if you want a yellow tang i've had mine for 15 months now in the 55, no problem. i've been told because of the 125 wet/dry i could put more fish in than normal. have had no problems as of yet. had a moorish idol in there for a year and the lfs owner was amazed, said they usually last about a month. i must be doing something right.

as for weekly water changes sounds like a waste of money time and effort unless you water peramiters are bad.

Its not the amount of water in this case that determines if you can keep the yellow tang but the size it will grow. I had one that died from ich in my 55. I don't know why i got it but when he was in my 55 he seemed to have no room to swim. I should have taken it back and was going to after christmas and when i got back it had ick and died a few days later. If you must keep him in there than i would not get any other fish.

The reason I'm doing the weekly water changes is because my tank is fairly new(5 months) and my eel and porcupine are very messy eaters and I really would be much happier safe than sorry..in a couple of months I do plan on getting a professional service to start coming out to do my tank and give myself some more time to just enjoy it..but I just love getting great water readings, for the 1 hr. a week it takes it's worth it.What did you decide on the new addition??
