Fish Suggestions

I'm new to this hobby after a few years of looking a friend's tank & looking for suggestions about what fish to choose.
I'm in the process of setting up a 55 gallon tank & would like to get a lion fish, moray eel & a small shark. Is this too much for a "Newbie" to start with?
Luckily for me my buddy has been in the hobby for 15+ years and has been a great help so far. He doesn't think it will be any problem for me but I'm looking ofr other opinions too.
Any suggestions?

I think most people on the board will at least agree that a 55 gallon tank is too small for any type of shark. It's small now but when it grows up....

Get the lion fish (I suggest a dwarf) but forget about the moray and the shark. A snowflake might be fine. They're pretty cool looking. I've never had one, but I think it might get too big after a little while as well though.
