Fish Suicide Rate

So, how many of your fish killed themselves (accidentally or intentionally). My flame angel killed itself swimming up to the surface really fast to grab some food but instead flew out of the water and smashed its face on my light fixture, fell back into the water and sank to the bottom. It was breathing really slow and was twitching around now and then before it died. It was pretty crazy.

Let's see. Had a coral beauty stick itself to a powerhead. A sixline jumped into the overflow box and so did a neon goby, yellow watchman goby, and a purple dottyback. A yellow coris leaped out of our tank. Recently my mystery wrasse was crushed in the overflow box. So i bought another mystery wrasse, and tonight, it too got crushed in the overflow box. All because of some stinking little space they can get through.

I am so sorry for all of you fish. Fish don't intentionaly commit suicide though. Have you all corrected the situation of open holes, hungry fish, ect?

My Snowflake Eel decided the pressure of tank life was too much, and slithered out of a hole he found in my top.

my Diamond Watchman jumped out of the tank from just a lil tidy crack btw then skimmer and the 6"hi wood frame around the tank. That is just a serious suiside there.

This happened to me too!
I was working in my tank with the canopy wide open. The dog was sitting next to the chair I was standing on watching everything going on. My Percula Clown jumps out of the tank, goes flying through the air. The dog sees it, decides it's lunch, and grabs it right out of mid flight, swallows it down before I can get down.
Gee Sarah... I hope you like your $20 lunch.

nothing in my tank has ever died, including corals and fish. but one day i picked up a CBS and it killed my peppermint within the first couple of minutes. but that was good cus the pepper was eatin all my mushrooms. so i traded the CBS and got a cleaner and soon a blood.
