Fish That bite

I just baught a fire clown and it is very vicious. None of the fish I have ever had bite but this one does.
The whole time I was cleaning the tank he kept trying to attack me. Finally when I reached behind the rocks he got me good. For a little fish it hurt. After that I couldn't put my hand in the tank without being bitten.
Is there a way to stop this, I don't want the fish to get too stressed?

My false perc goes after me whenever I put my hand in the tank. He got my fiance' real good the other day, left marks on her hand. It doesn't hurt, just startles you if your not ready for it. I think it's kind of funny actually.

My cinnamon does the same, but darn it...it hurts! If only we could put our fish in "time-out"...

I have a Tomato Clown that will attack your hand, he will even attack the magnetic cleaner when I move it around the tank.

Same here, everytime i go in, he just keeps attacking me, not just once either, prob 20-30 times repetitvely, while I am working. He is rather annoying.

No guarantees but for those that do not like being bit:D try putting on a latex glove before putting your hand in the tank. My clown didn't like the taste of rubber and after the first bite didn't come back for a second.
I am sure this will not work for everyone but if nothing else the latex glove will soften the blow a little HTH

I am going to try that.
Last night I had my son (who is 14) move a rock in the tank and sure enough he bit him too. I laughed and laughed. Then we used him as a decoy and I could move stuff around as I needed.
