Just a personal list of fish that shouldnt be kept in captivity:
Bicolor Angel
Regal Angel
Vlaminghi Tang<-gets way too big
Most sharks
Most rays
Sweetlips
Atlantic Green Moray Eels
Wild-Caught Seahorses and Pipefish
Ribbon Eels
Naussau Groupers
The Following Butterflys:
Phillipene
Gold stripe
bennet
4 Eye
Dusky
Cortez
Orange Face
Lined
Oval
Arabian
Meyers
Spotfin (unless in a mated pair)
8 Band
Rainfords
Chevron
Melon
Vagabond
And inverts that shouldnt be kept:
Goniopara
Alvelopora
Jellyfish
These are just my personal "should never be seen in a tank" list feel free to add to it.
My store no longer stacks most of the fish on this list because of their oveall "suckiness" in captivity leave em in the sea.

Thanks for reminding me. Rock beuties always grow real nice and big and then decide eating just isnt that great of a concept. Cleaners and Idols just don't work out either.

ive never seen a nassau in captivity, they get real big, upwards of 20 pounds in the wild. nassaus are real cool. they can change colors. great eating too! bo

GRoupehead, my old roommate had a 300 gallon aggresive tank. We had a Nassau, it was awesome!!!! The thing grew so big in three months we had to take him make from the reef we had attained him from... Do you ever think that figi and other islands are ever going to stop destroying their reefs? Ever time I walk into a store I always wonder, where are all these corals and fish coming from... Has anyone ever released there fish or corals into the ocean? Do you ever think that one day in the future we wouldnt need to rob the ocean of its treasures?
