Fish

I have a Koran angel, a Yellow tang, a yellow eye tang, a damsel, and 2 clownfish in a 125g. setup. As far as space is concerned can I add more fish? All of the fish are pretty small. The Koran is only about 4 inches long. The tank just looks somewhat empty. I've been told not to add anything else, but I think that person was assuming that my Koran was a foot long. I have several saltwater tanks and if needed, when the fish get larger, I plan on moving some to another tank. What fish would work well?

You can easily add more fish, but the yellow tang will be agressive towards most new fish. In my 125g. I have a powder blue, sohol, orange-shoulder, sailfin tangs and an emperor angel(juv) and a naso tang. All my levels are great too. I just added a De-nitrate for only 60$. I made it myself. As far as more fish go, I think you can. How old is the tank? LR? TJ

I've had the tank for about 2 years. I've added to this tank realy slowly because I've been adding to another tank instead. Would another tang be a possiblity? I want to add a dwarf angel, but I've read that the juv. Koran may fight with it. Has anyone had an experience where a juv. koran or juv. emperor has fought with a dwarf angel? What other fish would work well? I realize that I have an agressive group of fish so far, so what types would work well with them? I've has a fair amount of experience with reef tanks, but I'm not an expert at F.O. setups.

If you want two angels together I would have added them at the same time. I think another tang could be a possibility, I mean, look at my fish. I have 5 tangs, not too many people would even try what I did. Sometimes you just have to take a risk to succeed. Another thing your Koran will probably only get 6-8 inches. And, with the tank being set up for 2 years, I would definately get some more fish. Try whatever you want. If something goes bad you can always take back the new fish or put the fish bothering it "in jail". TJ
