Blood parrot and such a fish give gives a thought that these fish might bite or have aggressive behavior.Some times when fish is protecting her/his eggs and you give him food or try to play then fish can show a aggressive behavior otherwise not.Normally the big breed fish shows aggressive attitude.

When you say "blood parrot", I'm assuming you're referring to the man-made FW fish, which can be a hybrid. There are 3 combinations of species that "blood parrots" can be, all are cichlids, and cichlids can be nasty, esp. if you have the golden severum-red devil hybrid.
FWIW, I wouldn't count on too many folks on a SW fish forum to necessarily be knowledgeable about FW fish, esp. a rather obscure hybrid.
