I posted about getting a lion and you said to get a russells at the lfs they just got 3 or 4 of them. 2 look like volitan and the other 2 look close but they hve the extra skin or fin on top of the fins going down the back Kinda like the pic you posted. Are there any other lions that have this this is 4 to 5" reply soon I,m going back to get at least one of them

Well I went and bought it, right now it eats live only. I think it's the russelli lion I've compared to any pics. I could find now just tring to get him eat frozen. $35 4-5"

Look at the fins on its back. A russells fins dont have the bands or stripes on them. They do have fleshy fin tips so i am pretty sure what you got was a russells. Can u post a pic?
