Fitration options for new 150 gallon FOWLR tank

Hello,
I have just bought a new 150 gallon glass aqaurium which I am going to convert into a FOWLR tank. I plan on having about a 2 inch sand bed and 200 pounds of live rock. My question is what would give me the best results as far as filtration. Wet dry, protein skimmer, canister filter, etc. I dont want to say money is not an option but I do plan on doing this step by step and would like to get what works the best. In the same manner though I dont want to pay for unnecessary filtration. My tank is 4 feet long by 2 feet wide and about 2 1/2 feet tall. I would love to hear from as many people as possible in this matter. Thanks so much for your help.

Aggressives or community?
ANY thoughts of having coral in the future?
For me, on a large FOWLR I would almost always do wet/dry and skimmer with refugium if possible. I would never do a canister, personally, especially on that size system.

That tank is what I have size wise right now. I am running a 30 gallon sump with a Mag 12 return. 2 Korrilla 4's and a Korrilla 3 for circullation and then a Rena XP2 for a suplamental filter to get some of the extra stuff out of the tank. Also is the tank drilled if not run 2 2 tube overflows and a dual return on the Mag 12. Skimmer is up to you I am running a Coral life 220 and it is doing ok for me. My sump is set up as a comboFuge and regular sump. I am running 90 lbs LR and 140 LS in it with a Semi Aggressive mix.
I would either skip the Wrasse or the Lion. The wrasse will either be a meal or pick on the lionfish to death. If you want a wrasse go with a lrage angel instead.

I am buying small and growing them out for my future 450. Right now I have a 3 inch Juvi Emperor 2 inch Koran angel. Also 2 inch Powder Blue, 2 3 inch Yellow 2 inch Red sea Sailfin 1 inch Blue Hippo and a 2 inch Naso Tang. 3 inch Copperband that eats everything I throw at him plus a pair of goibies to stir the bottom and a 10 inch SFE I forgot my pair of Maroon clowns also 2 inchesa each there. My Nitrates stay at 15 or less could be that huge chunk of Cheato in the fuge there. Also no problems with agression since everything is well fed and smaller. If they get to big I trade them in for a small one again at my LFS and start over.
Now the trick is with this tank make sure your getting the crud out of the bottom that is why I am running the XP2 only for a supplemental filter I have the intake set for 20 inches deep and also my returns are all high. Set your circ pumps low to keep the bottom stirred up to get the crud out of there. Yes people are going to say I am overstocked however my water tests I think speak for themselves. PH 8.2 Nitrites and ammonia ZERO and Nitrates just did a test today were at 5. Last water change was 2 weeks ago.
For lights I am running a 4 bulb set of T-5 HO's and will be upgrading to a 6 Bulb set next tax season. Called getting the first piece for my new tank.

I also have a 150g aggressive and agree with IronEagle... I have a 45g sump (rubbermaid container) with 2 1200GPH return pumps with 3 outlets into my tank...an ASM G3 skimmer (good yet inexpensive) I have a built in overflow so I have sock filter when that comes in the sump,,,Put some carbon in media bags and change out every 3 weeks and you should be good. I have to say I LOVE MY WRASSE and personnaly i love my triggers also.
