Flame angel with dislocated jaw?

So as of Monday, my f.a. suddenly has a white, boney thing going on with his upper lip. It doesn't appear to be a bacteria thing, but it has been affecting his eating. I added 2 emerald crabs the night before, pretty sure they met that night and caused it. I'm just worried that he won't start eating soon.

Not much to be done. Its wait and see if fish can take care of the problem on his own. Are you positive that is not a growth?

It's definitely "boney" and it came out of nowhere. I'm guessing it happened when he met the crab. Should I try to move him to a hospital tank? I don't have one currently set up, but could do it today. Only problem I see is that he only really eats from the rocks.

No, I think just wait and see if he can work it loose. A clownfish will not normally attack a living crab.

It's a very curious flame angel. Lol. But thanks. I'll keep an eye on him.

It could be that he was curious about the crabs and maybe the crab did something to scare it making it swimming like crazy and he could have crashed with a rock or the wall
