The Flame Angel is not only beautiful, but an excellent choice for the "community" fish tank. Meaning that, unlike some other Angel species, this one gets along pretty well with tank mates, even other angels. This fish is both a meat and vegetable eater. It likes to graze on algae. Thus, while you can feed it the regular fish food such as brine shrimp, also give it, and any other vegetable-loving fish, a grazing source such as lettuce. Do this daily or every other day; but don't leave a lettuce leaf to get soggy in the tank. Preferable use the darker green tpye lettuce, like romaine or, if you can get some actual algae that would be good too. This angel stays small in size, so you won't have to worry about it outgrowing your tank---which happens with many other types of angels. Of course, in addition to a wide variety of foods, you can give it a vitimin supplement to keep its stricking bright color in tip top shape.
