My dad bought a Flame Scallop without me knowing, so I don't know what to feed it. Do you guys have any suggestions?

This is the best way...EVERYDAY
Get a container and squirt phytoplankton in it and soak your scallop in that for an hour a day wth a small power head or air stone to move the water around and suspend food so it flows over the scallop, they are filter feeders that need lots of food..
OR
This way will work until it moves under a rock and you can't reach it.
Get a turkey baster and fill it with phytoplankton EVERYDAY and squirt the food into the current in front of the scallop so the food flows over its feelers not on it, or touch it with the baster.

I have to take it out of the tank everyday? I think I'll do the 2nd option. Can't I just put the phytoplankton anywhere and the Scallop will find it?
