Anyone have experience with this fish? (Flameback, NOT Flame Angel). I fell in love with one at the LFS about 2 months ago and he's still there.
I am running a new 58 with 55# LR and 2 percs, plus a bunch of crabs & snails. Tank's been up and running about 2 months but it was set up as an upgrade from my crappy 35. My water tests are poifect.
Any info would be appreciated. I really want this little bugger!

they stay tiny, rarely if ever getting 3". is the one at the lfs a brazilian or african flameback? im believe they are a somewhat hardy fish, (but could someone clarify this.) very beutiful fish indeed, i think it would go well in your tank. bo

I don't have one myself, but I have a friend that has had his for over 3 years, and never been a problem. Good Luck

Thanks for the info... I picked him up this morning. I'm dying to turn the lights on to take a look at him but I'm letting him chill out for a bit. He sure is a pretty fish!
