flat anemone has problems..

I got a flat anemone 4 days ago and it is acting rather weird right now. The day I put it in the tank, it dug into the sand like it normally should and looked great. However, I came home a day ago and it was not seated in the sand anymore. It was just laying onn the sand all stretched out. It didn't seems to want to eat any mysis shrimp either. Now, it is totally pulled inside itself and looks like a ball. No tenacles are even visible. Yesterday I noticed the shrimp taking a pinch at it. I put it in a little safer place in the aquarium but it is still in a ball.
Anyone know why it is doing this?

your anemone sounds like it's dead or it's about to die. i had a carpet anemone that did the same thing after i had it in my tank for about a week. why...i don't know.
was it shipped to you? if so, did they use heat packs in your shipping box? if not, get your money back...
