I just did a flatworm exit treatment and put in the recomended dosage instantly i could see the flatworms running all over the place but at the same time all of my dwarf cerith snails retracted and one by one started to fall off the glass. anyone else have this problem? are they dead or just temporarily immobile? Since this happened right when i put the stuff in the tank i doubt it was caused by the flatworm toxins.

Anything that spooks or shocks a snail will make it play dead. They just drop. Watch them for a moment and see if they start moving again.

ya its weird it was only my cerith snails my nerites and nassaurius (sp) were just fine but i came home today and most of the ceriths were back up and moving around and it appears all the flatworms are gone so may have just stunned them for a little bit.

Did you have a problem with it killing anything else in your tank?
(just curious about the stuff)
No everything looks great and since my snails are back up id say the only thing it killed was flatworms good stuff.
