Flatworms?

There are many types, some are snail predators like the larger Polyclad flatworms, some are copepod predators like the white flatworm, some hang out on mushrooms and are unsightly, and some just hang out on any flat surface like the red flatworms and can multiply to plague proportions.

I know it is best to siphon them out with a siphoning tube and medicate the water! I was just wondering what the bad things of them were, the ones I am refering too are the tanish colored ones, mostly on the glass, dont seem to be bothering anything????

Those are probably Convotriloba sp. The only bad thing about them is their reproductive rate. They are slightly toxic so not very many animals can eat them. During a bloom they can cover all roch, sand, and glass. The population tends to come & go and often you will think you are rid of them.
