flatworms!

i'm asking a question for a friend. he has a 225 reef n has problem that has gone out of control. he has gold colored flatworms n only had a few at first but now unbelievable how there r everywhere he has no idea what to do , can u give me any suggestions i can pass on thanks

What type of fish does he have in there??
use ridged air line tubing and suck them out as he sees them.
flat worm exit can be dangerous of not used exactly like the instructions say.

Gold colored flatworms?? I've seen clear, red, brown and AEFW....never gold. You sure they are flatworms? Maybe they are brown??
Blue Velvet Nudibranch eat FW's. Some people have luck with the sixline wrasse. I used FW Exit....but like Theresa said....the directions must be followed EXACT!

I agree with the idea of using natural control before reaching for chemicals. Flatworm exit is shockingly effective, but if you have lots of flatworms, it can cause serious problems in the tank.
I've had huge luck with sixline and fourline wrasses.

me too, and also the melanurus wrasse eats FW(in my avatar). im wondering why they got soo out of control?? excess nutrients?

hey thanks guys, just got home n checked for responses. they are gold incolor n real little n square n he works at a lfs. there are millions , no kidding.so i'll tell em about the wrasses. thanks
