flatworms

Terry B and Beth,
There has been an ongoing discussion in the reef section on ridding a tank of curing LR of about 30 or so visible flatworms. Some have suggested a FW dip of the LR, yet others have said not to. This really isnt a disease question, but I thought with your knowledge on tank treatments you could shed some light on the situation.

Debatable. Like many things in this hobby, some do it this way, and some do it that way. The individual hobbyst must decide what is the lesser of 2 evils. Keeping the flatworms, or dipping the rock and getting some die off.
Obviously, if your live rock has more than just coraline, those creatures will likely not survive.
Thanks for letting us know about the discussion!
